February Workshop Draws Big Numbers
The DHI's first workshop of the spring semester, "Advanced Tools for DH," drew a large (virtual) crowd with over 140 people in attendance! The event, which took place February 17, 2021, featured presentations on machine learning by William Mattingly from the Smithsonian Institution Data Science Lab and on Python by Daniella Gati from Brandeis University. DHI Co-Director Janet Swatscheno also presented on the advanced uses of Scalar.
The second workshop of the spring semester will be held April 7th. Details will be announced soon.
