The DHI awarded $175,000 for the Multiethnic Digital Humanities Project
We’re very pleased to announce that the DHI has received a $175,000 grant from the University of Illinois System’s Presidential Initiative: Expanding the Impact of the Arts and the Humanities. The award is in support of The Multiethnic Digital Humanities Project that will use digital tools and platforms to connect Black studies, Asian studies, Latin American and Latino studies, Native American and Indigenous studies and other key areas. The DHI plans to continue to build on current successes, which have helped transform humanities work and artistic expression with digital research tools and innovative online platforms. By applying digital tools to multiethnic studies, the project will extend their public reach as well as embrace faculty work from all three universities in the University of Illinois system.
We look forward to continuing to offer exciting programming wherein we engage students and faculty in cutting-edge research using digital tools!
